Introducing Ozone Dentistry

The future is here.  How would it be if we could stop decay dead in its tracks and even REVERSE it and heal your tooth?  No numbing, no drill, and, quite frequently, no filling.
 
 This is all possible now thanks to a major innovation that's been developed over the last 20 years in Europe and Canada.  It's called ozone technology or Activated Oxygen, and, as one of the few certified practices, we've been using this for some time now.  In our office, we sometimes select the gas form of medical ozone for you, or we may use it in water or in an oil form.
 
Ozone is known as a gas associated with smog, but, in fact, it has remarkable ability to both kill bad bacteria as well as kick start our healing process.  Ozone is the same material used by the cells in our bodies to get rid of infection.  Most human cells are immune to ozone, but the activated form of oxygen kills all known germs--bacteria, fungi and viruses without hurting our own cells.   Remarkable!

In many cases we can stop tooth decay in its tracks and even reverse it and heal the tooth.  It can also work to treat periodontal disease. VERY COOL!
 
Only a small handful of dentists have studied this technology in the U.S., although many other professionals have been using ozone for years outside the country with great success. Ozone has also proven very useful to stop annoying cold sore outbreaks, to desensitize painful teeth and remove canker sores inside the mouth.
